Uncovering our heritage
Thinker. Researcher.
About Me
Kia ora, ko Leighton tōku ingoa. Hello, my name is Leighton. I am a genealogist and offer family history and whakapapa research services. Further to my services, I am an author and historian. I approach my research with an academic lens with an emphasis on accuracy. The ultimate goal of my projects are to increase access to hard-to-find information enabling people to reconnect with their heritage.
I deal primarily with records from Aotearoa New Zealand and England from the fifteenth through nineteenth centuries. Other areas that I have experience researching include Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States of America.
